The Official Warzone Strategy Guide, a knowledge base for the free-to-play, free-for-everyone Call of Duty® experience, now includes an atlas for Rebirth Island and an updated Gulag chapter to get you prepared for Season One of Black Ops Cold War and Warzone.

This comes on top of the general tactics, loadout suggestions, an interactive map of Verdansk, and all other free content that can be indexed to your personal experience through your Call of Duty account.

Tac Map: Atlas Update – Rebirth Island

In addition to the existing interactive map of Verdansk with over 330 Points of Interest, the Tac Map: Atlas chapter now includes Rebirth Island, the research facility and prison where fast and frenetic combat reign supreme.

This Rebirth Island chapter includes the following new intel:

From the Chemical Engineering Buildings to the Security Area and the massive Prison Block in between, our guide marks 32 notable landmarks and areas within Rebirth Island to base your squad’s next winning strategy around. Each Point of Interest also includes screenshots to help you familiarize yourself with the new map, along with detailed breakdowns of what is included within each area and how it fits specific combat scenarios.

Ammo Caches, Buy Station, and Vehicle Spawn Locations

Although Vehicle and Buy Station spawns in Warzone are random, we scoured every empty plot, parking space, and odd space on Rebirth Island to learn where these can appear.

Captured: Prisoner of Warzone – Verdansk and Rebirth Island Gulags

Although getting a second chance at life in Warzone works the same in a Battle Royale match, the arena for your nail-biting 1v1 will look different in Season One.

In anticipation of this change, the Captured: Prisoner of Warzone section in the guide’s fourth chapter has been updated and split for Verdansk and Rebirth Island.

This updated chapter includes a closer look and basic strategies for the new Nuketown-inspired Gulag in Verdansk, as well as a sneak peek at the Rebirth Island Gulag for Mini BR matches, which will be available in the near future.

Accessing the Guide

The Official Warzone Strategy Guide is available here. It’s free for all. Internet access is all that is required to access the Guide. 

The Guide can be personalized by logging into your Call of Duty Account, although this is not required to enjoy full free access to this website.

After reading these latest changes to Warzone, be sure to have it downloaded and updated for Season One.
